(+) What works? (praise)
Topic. Also you explain how they first met and the beginning and she describes the characters well.

(-) What Doesn’t (polish)
Write at least something about the ending even if you want to be vague you should write something to round it off. Also you should watch the movie again because she might have something interesting to say about parts she might have forgotten.

(?) Questions?
What did you like about the movie?
What drew you to the movie?

Notes for Peer’s Oral Response

Essay # 3

Writer Lourdes Alexis Peer Respondent Louis Moshe Leon

Instructions: Listen to the essay carefully. Take at least two minutes after the reading to complete the following notes, and then share your reactions orally with the writer. Submit the completed form to your teacher at the end of the Peer Response activity.

(+) What works? (praise)
You effectively convey your passion and approval for the movie.
You try to prove a point, a good one.
The scenes you did describe, you did very well.

(-) What Doesn’t (polish)
I believe you could have gone more in detail with all of the important aspects of the movie.
The ending seems to be somewhat ironic and you didn’t elaborate very much on it.
Go more in depth in general

(?) Questions?
What happens at the end?
Why is the movie meaningful?
What makes it so very significant and heart touching?
Why did you like the movie so much, what did you like most?
