I'm sorry, I could not figure out what email to send it to because I don't know if you are a freshman or not, but here is the paper and I hope you can figure out where the new paragraphs go.

A Walk to Remember

Not everyone falls for movies that include dramatic or romantic scenes. But when you come across one, you can’t help but talk about it and praise what it is that you find interesting in the particular piece. One of the movies that I feel is very deserving of this praise (there was no title that you previously referred to) is A Walk to Remember.
I sincerely cannot think of any other movie, apart from Titanic, that is more deserving of the praise (no title previously mentioned). I strongly believe that this film is a chef d’oeuvre, (describe what this means) and that it is very relatable to things that may be happening in today’s world (or just today). If you are looking for a movie which you will get a life lesson out of, then A Walk to Remember is definitely the movie for you. With actors that perfectly act out the story and scenes, and who will literally make you cry your eyes out, this film is definitely a must see for the romantics out there.
The story takes place in Beaufort, North Carolina. Landon Carter (Shane West) and his friends, all high school seniors, play a prank on a kid who gets sent to the hospital as a result. They are the popular kids and are very respected at their institution. But when it comes to a serious matter like this, fame certainly does not matter. Out of all the group members that were part of the prank, Carter is unfortunately the one that gets caught.
As punishment for his actions, he is forced to do community service. He has to star in the school play as a lead character with other nerds that make up the drama club. In the play, along with Landon, is Jamie Sullivan (mention that it’s played by Mandy Moore because you mention the actor who plays Landon) an unpopular kid, and the daughter of the town’s preacher. Jamie is always teased by the other girls at the school because she is supposedly too religious and not outgoing. She is considered boyish and annoying because she never wears make-up (write that she is also studious because that is another reason why they don’t really like her).
But when Carter gets stuck with studying his lines for the play, it’s Jamie that he turns to for help. She is very good at acting and Carter feels that she’s the only one who could help him fulfill his community service duties and get his punishment over with. Jamie accepts helping him out with only one condition: he should not fall in love with her. Carter accepts, but little does he know he will spend most of his time with Jamie, and in an ironic twist of fate, he will find himself growing stronger and stronger feelings for her as the days go on (you might want to edit this sentence because I am not quite sure how to fix it and this is the best I can come up with).
Shortly after that, Carter ceases to hang out with his popular friends and devotes all of his time to Jamie. They eventually fall in love and stay with each other despite the bad looks and nasty things that people say about them.
But every happy moment has to have a dark spot (dark spot doesn’t sound good...I’m not quite sure what to write in place of it though...try to write dark point or something like that...also you probably shouldn’t start a paragraph with “but” try unfortunately) to spoil everything. And so it turns out that Jamie had her reasons for asking Carter not to fall in love with her because she was dying. Jamie Sullivan was diagnosed with leukemia and had very little time to live.
In this poignant story, for which I literally stayed stuck to the television until the end, the viewer will anticipate, with the same impatience, how Carter will react to Jamie’s revelation (I’m not sure revelation is what you should say here). Will he turn his back on her, or will they make things work before she leaves this world? From the moment at which Jamie confesses her disease to Carter, you cannot help but to wonder what will happen next.
The very first thing, which should catch the viewer’s attention in this film, is the story narrated in it. The actors play their roles very well, but in my opinion, the story is what’s to be considered the most when it comes to analyzing the movie (I’m not sure how to put it but this doesn’t seem quite right...you want to explain that the meaning behind the story is what is so powerful, and I think you should try to say it differently). Directed by Adam Shankman, the choreographer of the movie, Hairspray, A walk to remember is definitely a must-see for fans of tragic love stories. With a mix of romance and drama, and with very detailed scenes and dialogues, this movie is a masterpiece in my opinion.
One of the most memorable scenes of the movie would be when Jamie and Carter first make their relationship “click.” (You can also say it is when Jamie and Carter first click. Also, you constantly call Jamie by her first name, and Landon by his last name-be consistent, either call them both by their first name, or both by their last name) When they finally realize that they cannot help it anymore, when they can no longer hide their vivid emotions behind an imaginary veil, and can no longer act like their feelings for each other aren’t growing, (this is an incomplete sentence...when they finally realize they can’t help it anymore...they what?).
Especially in the case of Landon Carter (incomplete sentence...especially in the case of Landon what?). He was in the play just to meet the requirements of his community service duties, but eventually, though he never anticipated it, it led to more. Never would he have thought that someone with an outstanding personality as the one that Jamie Sullivan possessed would sweep him off of his feet (this doesn’t make sense because we automatically assume that he would be swept off his feet if she had such an outstanding personality...what you want to say here is that despite her lack of popularity he was swept off of his feet). He only dated loud, well-known, gorgeous girls that looked like models, but Jamie was different.
The moment, when they make eye contact, directly tells the viewer that there is something in perspective, that something was definitely about to happen. The moment when they kissed, could not be seen coming by anyone! Carter literally leaned over to Jamie, during their scene in the play, and in front of the audience, he shared a kiss so passionate with her that the assistance (assistance to what-explain that they are the people who feed you the lines if you forget them) was holding their breath with astonishment.
Another part of the movie that should catch your attention is the scene in which Jamie tells Carter everything (but explain what everything is). You can perfectly depict the struggle that is going on inside of her when she tells him. She starts out with the words: “I’m sick.”
“Well yeah,” answers Carter, “you will get better, you just have to get some medicine that’s it.”
“You don’t understand Landon,” she replies in despair, “I’m very sick.”
Carter looks at her with a puzzled look, and with tears in her eyes, Jamie painfully admits, “I’m dying Landon, I have leukemia. I warned you not to fall in love with me but you did anyway,” and bitterly sobbing, she runs away. (Try to see if you can figure out exactly where the new paragraphs should be put because I think that every time someone new talks, there is a new paragraph, but you should ask someone a little more experienced for some help with that).
At this very moment, you can see from the camera’s angle, Carter’s confusion after hearing that she is sick, and Jamie’s misery after revealing what’s going on with her. These feelings are very emotional. The director does a great job by having a close-up at this point so that he can grab the viewer’s attention on the intensity of the moment.
It is obvious that at the end of the movie, Jamie dies. But the real questions are “What happens to Carter after she dies?” and, “How has the time she spent with him made an impact in his life?”
Along with this wonderful movie goes a soundtrack. Sung by Mandy Moore herself, Cry tells the poignant story of how the couple met, and how they tried to work it out through it all. The song is very beautiful and easy to learn. The words just get to you and literally, you might just melt down from the melody. Even the most cold-hearted, careless person will agree with me that this song is a well-written piece with inspiring words.
I strongly think that the actors did a great job in presenting the story to the audience. This is one of the best movies, and seeing it might teach you a few things about life. There are a lot of things to learn from this movie, and seeing it is the best way to find out what they are (this ends abruptly and almost way too quickly because your whole story is so detailed and you might want to add a little more to your conclusion).
